Children between the age group of 8 to 12 years are included in this group. The skills developed in Pre-primary group such as self-help skills, gross and fine motor skills like walking/running, overcoming obstacles, balancing on one foot, jumping etc. Communication skills, Social skills and academic skills are further improvised in this group.

Higher concepts such as time and money, sentence level communication, academic skills, personal Bio-data, counting numbers up to 10, learning simple additions and subtractions. In Pre-vocational skills, children are trained in activities like cutting, paper-folding, assembling required articles for the assigned task, sitting on a task for at least 10 minutes, sorting and keeping articles in their respective places after use, categorization of objects etc.
